I think we are tired because the last seven days included a very long trip from Detroit to Pyongyang with stops in London, Strasbourg, Binghamton and other places. What do you think?

. What do you think about the Administration conditions to help the U.S. auto industry?
. Do you believe it is risky or not as the White House takes direct action about who has to go out of a company?
. Do you see similarity in the case of our auto industry with actions of other governments around the world?

My health in a chip
The alliance between General Electric and Intel Corporation showed a very positive face in a stressful week. Two companies with previous experience in complex devices and systems decided to put together their knowledge in health-care to embrace a new interesting project.
La alianza entre General Electric e Intel Corporation mostró una cara muy positiva en una semana llena de tensión. Las dos compañías con experiencias previas en complejos dispositivos y sistemas decidieron poner sus conocimientos en cuidado de la salud en forma conjunta para encarar un nuevo interesante proyecto.
They want to deploy all the capabilities of the technology to generate a complete home health-care system that gives seniors and chronic patients the possibilities to live in their own environment and feel safe thanks a total control of their cardiovascular disease, diabetes or other sickness problems that require permanent monitoring of the cardiac and respiratory symptoms and vital signals, plus a daily dose of medicine.

Previous to the alliance, General Electric developed its GE QuietCare, remote passive activity and behavioral monitoring system for seniors, alerting caregivers to changes that may indicate potential health issues or emergency situations.
