The winter has begun in the northern hemisphere and the summer in the south below the Equator line.
El invierno ha comenzado en el hemisferio norte y el verano en el sur debajo de la línea del Ecuador.
What about Florida? I guess you are living the best season of the year. But, please take a portion of our menu:
- Snow.
- Ice.
- Cold winds.
- Gloomy days.
- Trees without leaves.
- Birds without song.
- Flowers sleeping under frozen rocks.

I don’t know what will be Tina’s feelings because she lives in Virginia. I guess she will have snow during the next months, but she will not suffer the big storms of the Rocky Mountains.

On the other hand, I suspect the members from South America will feel happy with sunny days and hot temperatures. Of course, they will not live the classic Christmas celebration with snow and hot red wine…

- On Monday December 15, Caroline Kennedy began her campaign seeking the New York Senate seat that will be vacant if Senator Hillary Clinton assumes Obama’s appointment as Secretary of State. Immediately, she gained a lot of supporters, but also numerous opponents.
Questions: What is the last goal of the daughter of the assassinated President John F. Kennedy? Perhaps, she is seeking the office held by her father in 8 or 12 years from now…Did you think about this?
Also, maybe, she could be the first female U.S. President if Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton or …if they don’t seek the position before. What do you think about her potential possibility?

Is this victory a warning message against the military leaders of Darfur, Sudan and other war criminals in Africa?

- The week ended with mixed results on the Wall Street markets. The Dow Jones Industrials Average declined 50.57 points, or 0.59%, on the week closing at 8579.11. On the other hand, Nasdaq Composite grew 23.60 points, or 1.53%, closing the week at 1564.32.
It was the second week with the same picture: Dow Jones Industrials Average falling and Nasdaq Composite advancing.
